The NY Thespians One-Act Competition serves as an exciting event that brings together High School, Middle School, and Elementary schools from various districts to showcase their talents through the performance of either student-written, teacher-written or published one-act plays or musicals. These engaging one-act performances can range in duration from a brief 5 minutes to a more extended 30 minutes, allowing for a diverse array of artistic expression. Participants have the opportunity to earn both individual awards as well as group awards, recognizing the hard work and dedication of the performers and their teams.
